This was a pretty tough page to put together. Ultimately, I don’t think this is any more graphic than a Frankenstein adaptation in any other media, but I can understand some people may be squeamish. I just tried to keep those two somewhat dark panels creepy, but not so much so that it would turn people away. This is supposed to be a shocking moment, and I think I made the right choice on how I communicated that. There is a lot going on this page. In the long run I think this will be a key sequence of events to understanding certain characters, or understanding just what the cult is up to.
